Andrew Percy is Professor of Quantitaive Criminology, School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work, QUB.

His background is in large scale survey research. In particular, he was involved in the first national estimates of the extent and nature of sexual victimisation in GB (with Pat Mayhew, 1997). He has a long-standing interest in the application of survey methods and statistical modelling to the study of sensitive issues and behaviours such as alcohol, drug use, and sexual behaviour.

He is currently supervising doctoral students examining the role of restorative justice in sexual offences, adolescent sexual health, and online self-disclosure and cybervictimisation.
