Dr Sinéad Kelleher
Sinéad Kelleher is a postdoctoral researcher at Dublin City University. Currently, she’s working on the Wellcome Trust funded project Understanding and responding to intimate partner violence in the LGBTQ+ community: an implementation study.
The overall aim of this project is to improve the supports available for LGBTQ+ people experiencing violence in an intimate relationship. Previously, she completed her PhD at University College Cork, examining the personal and societal factors that inform the development of an asexual identity. She has also held lecturing positions in University College Cork and Mary Immaculate College.
Sinéad’s research interests include human sexuality and sexual identity development, intersectionality and various forms of harm and discrimination.
